Police arrests PTM leaders Ali Wazir, Mohsin Dawar and Afrasiab Khattak

Islamabad: Today police arrests PTM leaders from Islamabad. Because some PTM leaders Ali Wazir, Mohsin Dawar and Afrasiab Khattak were protesting against Manzoor Pashteen’s arrest. They were protesting at the National Press Club.

The protests against the arrest of Manzoor Pashteen were held in various areas of the country. Swabi, Quetta, DI Khan, Bannu, and Islamabad were among cities where protests held.

PTM Leaders and MNA’s including Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir were among 15 people who were arrested said SHO Akhtar Ali of Kohsar Police Station.

Police also arrested several workers of PTM.

Meanwhile, it is clear that there are no such arrests in other protests of PTM. That was happening in other cities in the country.

Why are these Protests being held?

These protests were taking place in favor to release PTM leader Manzoor Pashteen. Manzoor Pashteen is not only the leader but he is the chief of PTM.

What is PTM?

PTM stands for (Pashtoon Tahafiz Movement). It was formed to preserve the rights of Pashtoons but the unlawful and anti-state narrative resulted in arrests. Police arrests PTM leaders that have joined the National Assembly.

This is the 2nd time when Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir were arrested by police. There are also some allegations of outside support for PTM. This support is considered anti-state.
